Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has “set his eyes” on signing Juventus winger Federico Chiesa, according to Tuttosport.
The Italian publication claims that Guardiola has been watching the Italian international for the last three years and wants to add the 23-year-old to his squad.
Chelsea, Liverpool and Bayern Munich are also said to be keen on Chiesa, with reports in Germany in recent days having suggested that the Blues were willing to offer as much as €100m (£85m).
However, Tuttosport claim that Juventus will not be considering bids for the player this summer, as they see him as a vital member of the first team.
Considering Chiesa’s likely price tag, it would have been a huge surprise if the Citizens were prepared to put that much money on the table. The Manchester club are already reportedly working on deals for two other players, in Jack Grealish and Harry Kane, who would cost nine figures each.
